Provider Workspace

Atticus's virtual care team and your in-person providers work in the same system. The Provider Workspace is where both teams deliver care, share patient records, and coordinate treatment — scheduling, documentation, prescriptions, care plans, and telehealth.

Workspace Views

Daily Schedule

Virtual and in-person visits appear side-by-side — scheduled appointments and walk-in queue in one view. Providers start encounters, join video visits, and manage their availability directly from the schedule.

Patient Snapshot

The Patient Snapshot gives providers and staff access to the full clinical record outside of an encounter — demographics, diagnoses, medications, allergies, labs, immunizations, care plans, and visit history. Providers can review and manage patient data without starting a visit.

Visit Brief

Before each encounter, an AI-generated visit brief assembles what the provider needs to know — what happened since the patient was last seen, outstanding care gaps, recent lab results, medication changes, and relevant history. The brief eliminates the hunting and pecking through charts that typically eats into visit time, so providers can walk into an encounter already oriented to the patient's current state.

Visit Documentation

AI-assisted charting reduces documentation burden. Care recommendations anticipate patient needs based on Atticus Health-managed care protocols — providers can act on recommended orders, screenings, and follow-ups in as few clicks as possible.

During a visit, providers document using:

  • Structured note types — Triage notes, virtual visit notes, weight loss program notes, and addendums
  • AI-generated notes — Notes capture the encounter automatically and can be reviewed and edited before finalizing
  • Integrated patient chart — Full clinical context available alongside the documentation panel
  • Quick actions — Place orders, create care plans, add allergies, and manage health coverage without leaving the encounter

Async Care

Members can complete clinically validated triage questionnaires for common conditions through the Patient App. Completed intakes appear in the provider's queue for asynchronous review — no live visit required.

The provider reviews the triage questionnaire and determines next steps:

  • Prescribe — Issue a prescription directly based on the triage responses
  • Callback — Schedule a follow-up call if additional information is needed
  • Escalate — Convert to a live video or in-person visit for conditions that require real-time evaluation

Async encounters use the same documentation and prescribing tools as live visits.

Video Visits

Telehealth uses the same infrastructure as in-person visits — same documentation, same prescribing, same care plans. Virtual visits appear in the schedule alongside in-person appointments. Providers launch the video session from the encounter view and have the full charting and ordering tools available during the call.

Visit types include on-demand (routed to the next available provider), scheduled (patient books a specific provider and time), and follow-ups (linked to a care plan milestone or previous encounter).

Care Plan Management

Care plans go beyond static treatment plans:

  • Rules-driven — The clinical rules engine evaluates each patient's diagnoses, medications, labs, and demographics to surface the right tasks
  • Time-gated monitoring — e.g., "A1C every 3 months if last A1C ≥ 6.5%"
  • Task inbox — Completed patient tasks (medication confirmations, health check-ins, questionnaires) appear as task cards for provider review — no synchronous visit required for routine care plan work
  • Patient-visible — Goals, tasks, and progress appear in the patient app
  • Biometric tracking — Weight, blood pressure, and other measurements tracked over time
